Lola Animashaun isn't your typical realtor.
After serving in the Marine Corps and retiring from the Army — with a daughter currently serving in the Navy — I know firsthand what it means to receive orders and have to move your entire life on a timeline that doesn't bend.
That's the foundation of everything I do now.
Why I built this business the way I did.
For over 14 years, the military told me where to live, when to leave, and how fast to pack. I bought homes I'd never seen in person. I sold homes long-distance. I navigated VA loans, PCS timelines, and base-to-base transitions — sometimes well, sometimes the hard way. Always with a family depending on me to get it right.
So when I retired and got my real estate license, I didn't build a business that happened to work near military bases. I built one specifically for the people I served alongside, and the families who serve with them.
Military relocation isn't a side specialty I picked up. It's the lived experience I bring to every client — military or civilian — across Tennessee and Kentucky.
Who I work with.
I'm licensed in both Tennessee and Kentucky — one agent, two states, no handoffs. That means whether you're moving to Fort Campbell or out of Fort Knox, buying your first home in Memphis, or selling before your next set of orders in Louisville, you're working with the same person from start to finish.
- Active-duty military and their families — PCSing in, out, or across bases
- Veterans transitioning out of service or settling in for the long haul
- First-time buyers who want a guide, not a sales pitch
- Homeowners ready to sell with strategy, not just a sign in the yard
- Civilian families anywhere in TN or KY who want an agent who actually shows up
What I bring to the work.
Over six years of real estate experience with LPT Realty's national platform behind me.
But beyond the certifications: I bring military discipline, the long-distance buying experience most agents only read about, and the willingness to tell you the truth even when it's not what you want to hear. That last part is rare in this industry. It's also the most important.
My approach is simple:
That's not a marketing slogan. It's the order of operations.
Beyond the badge.
When I'm not helping families find their next home, you'll find me with my dog Chai — say hi, Chai! — tackling a DIY project, or cheering on my daughter from afar as she serves in the Navy.
I'm a Marine. An Army retiree. A single mother. A Realtor. And I bring all of it to the work I do for my clients — because the people I serve deserve someone who shows up as a whole person, not a polished pitch.
A note on serving the military community.
If you've been getting calls from agents claiming to "specialize in military relocations" — I get it. It's a popular tagline. Most of them mean well. But there's a difference between knowing the process and having lived it.
I've packed the truck. I've signed papers in another time zone. I've watched my family adjust to a new base, a new school, a new normal — knowing it would all happen again in 24 months. That's the experience I bring to every PCS family I work with.
You'll know within the first conversation whether I'm the right fit. And if I'm not, I'll tell you who is.
I don't need to convince you. I need to earn you.
Reach out when you're ready.
